The Eastern Neighorhoods
After passing block after block of lovely cottage rows, State Street crosses a railroad viaduct at 42nd Street and enters a strange zone of open land.

The area's first landmark is the vast empty fields where Shop City once stood. In the 1960s, this was the town's premier shopping and entertainment destination.
