Ethical Society Meeting House

Sitting at the bottom of a steeply sloped site, the Meeting House is a complex grid of overlapping wood and concrete structural elements. Colored glass walls create a raucous symphony of light inside the entry foyer. Numerous elements, including the massive peaked roof and the grid of screening wood roof elements, speak to the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright. The pinacle contains a skylight to illuminate the elegantly spare meeting room below.
