St. Ferdinand Catholic Church
1765 Charonier Road, Florissant - northwest County
Architect: ?
1960
The exterior is awkwardly realized, hung halfway between orthogonal shapes and the shallow diagonal of the roof. Within, however, is a space filled with patterns of amazingly filtered light -- the very essence of traditional Gothic architecture.
The stained glass style strongly resembles that used at Grace Lutheran, and is likely the same artist - Centry Art Glass / Robert Sumner.
