At the intersection of Jefferson Davis and Tulane stands this Modernist office tower.

Looking north along Tulane - the same building.

A beautiful Victorian-trimmed shotgun home along Jefferson Davis Parkway, north of Tulane.

Jefferson Davis Parkway, heading toward the lake near Banks Street -- a stunningly ornate house with elaborate clay tile roof ridges.

A pair of fantastic Mid-Century Modern buildings on Tulane Avenue, north of Jefferson Davis -- the Rose Inn Motel, and a highrise of many colors whose name I didn't manage to get.

Ulloa Street, splitting off from north-bound Tulane Avenue.

Heading west out of town on Airline Highway, west of Palmetto Street.

The London Lodge, a Mid-Century Modern motel on Airline Highway with a fabulous neon sign.
