The Hyde Park neighborhood centers on the park of the same name, and was originally a separate town known as Bremen. For some time it has been an odd mix of the immaculately restored and the abandoned. An optimistic series of efforts at a revival in the 1980s were not enough to bring a lasting prosperity back to the area. |
