Carondelet has scattered commercial buildings all across it - enough to make a mini-downtown if they were all in one place.
Visually, however, the neighborhood has a definite center - the Ivory Triangle, where Ivory Avenue splits off from Michigan at an angle. As Michigan approaches this point, it has a large number of commercial, mixed use and civic buildings.
