Sporting News Building
2012-2018 Washington Avenue
Architect: Albert B. Groves
1920
Originally an Emerson Electric Company factory. Home to the Sporting News newspaper until 1969. Renovated in 2002 as loft condos.
A long-vanished neighbor, whose height can be read from the change in the tone of the brick mortar, made the light well indendation necessary.
