Step back a block from the park, and the general conditions are visibly worse. Lee Avenue and the streets around it show large expanses of vacant lots and damaged buildings. A deteriorated porch column gave way some time between 2008 and 2010, bringing down the whole front porch and the front gable of this red brick house. |
